Group Tab

The group tab is where you enter in basic information about the group you are creating which is then displayed in the groups portion of the platform.

Title

This is the title of the group you are creating, keep it simple and short. You also want to make sure this is unique to other groups that you create as when you search to add the group to the sharing section other groups or a page, it will be easily distinguishable from other groups you have created.

Description

The description is displayed at the top of the group and can have formatting applied. Once you have entered in the basic information and saved the group, the Group Description edit box will be enabled. Enter in the desired content and click save at the top of the page to save.

Tags

Tags are a list of user defined tags that are relevant to your group, as a particular tag becomes popular it becomes a trend and is lifted in priority on the platform. For example if your group contains a number of recipes, you might add the tag 'recipe' the tag. Type the tag in and press enter to save.

Image

The image is a picture used for the group and is usually displayed at the top of the group or when shown in the group list. For example, if you were creating a group with recipes, it could be a picture of your dish. If you don't have anything to use, you can download one from www.pexels.com for free or just leave it blank.

Header

The header options allow you to choose how the header information is displayed on your page.

Info
The info tab displays information about the page, for example the number of views, any tags and date modified information.

Description
Whether to show the group description when the group is displayed.

Sharing Tab

The sharing tab allows you to add the current group into another group thus becoming a sub group, or add users to the group which allows them to have access to pages you may place under this group.
